A good example of an issue WW1 Scottish Rifles (Cameronians) Glengarry cap with leather headband trim and wax cotton lining with the regimental dark green “rifles" body colour with black “tourie” specific to the Cameronians.
The silk tails have been removed, an alteration often applied in WW1 as the tails were found to be a hindrance in the field.
A cap badge was once applied but this is no longer present. The lining however has a nice WW1 type War Department inspection mark.
The Glengarry is in very good condition with no moth.
