WW1 On War Service Admiralty official issue numbered badge
A very scarce First World War period nickel plated 'On War Service Admiralty' numbered Badge with Crown at centre.
The reverse is impressed with the wearer’s official number 971 and retains the buttonhole fitting.
A very good example without damage. Approximately 26mm in diameter. Formerly part of the Gordon Williamson collection.
