A good example of what I believe to be third issue of the British 1908 Pattern Haversack.
Overall condition is very good with the exception of two holes to the webbing on the lower right front side. This shows well in the images.
Inside of the flap carries the manufactureÂ’s stamp, M.W & S and the date, but sadly only the 191 is clear, the last digit being indistinct. It may be a 5,6,2 or 8.
All stitching if firm and the Haversack has been green blancoed at some time.
