A 1916 dated Brown Leather Holster for the PO8 (Luger) pistol
All stitching is intact and firm. The closure and lifting straps are present and the roller buckle works well. The pocket for the striping tool is in place on the underside of the flap and a good clear 1916 date and makers name remains impressed into the leather nearby.
Both front and back of the hard shell body are very good, the flap with a split on the front curve, perhaps associated some way a similar split at the top of the magazine pouch.
On the reverse the belt loops remain strong and a previous owner’s name appears on the leather.
