A very rare Italian Prisoner of War Brassard constructed with an oval shaped green cotton backing with “Italy” machine embroidered in white cotton, the reverse ink stamped M-Anza.
Camp Anza was a POW camp for German and Italian prisoners established in Southern California, eventually disbanded in 1946.
Overall condition is very good but with one of the securing tapes missing.
