An early 19th century North American Indian Child’s Waistcoat with three button front, possibly worn by a young girl.
Of note are the buttons and patterned cloth lining which clearly demonstrates the trading which took place between the Native Americans and the settlers where “Trade Beads” were exchanged for cloths and in this case, buttons.
Overall condition is very good
