ATS KD Skirt 1944 Dated

An ATS Khaki Drill Skirt with it’s original 1944 dated label. Made by Shore and Sons this is a size 13 for a 25”– 26” waist, height 5’7” – 5’ 8”.
Closure is by one button at the waist and two press fasteners with the opening worn on the left hip.
Overall condition is very good with a repaired horizontal cut of about 2.5cms at the base of the opening and with one press fastener in need of securing in place.
Khaki drill (K.D.) was also issued for use in warm countries such as Malta. A.T.S. members used a K.D. skirt - the same pattern as the S.D. skirt, but made of khaki drill material - with an aertex A.T.S. shirt, no tie, the usual soft cap, shoes and short khaki socks.
