Attached to the upper flap of the Haversack Pack and used to carry the mess kit and utensils which were contained in a vertical pocket.
Measuring approximately 20 x 20 cms the pouch carries the stamp of the Canvas Products Co. and Feb 1918 date on the inside closure flap and is in excellent unissued condition.
