A 1916 dated British 50 round Ammunition Bandolier with five pockets for the carriage of .303 rifle ammunition.
Overall condition is good but with only one and a half of the original five closure buttons remaining. In addition there ii a break in the strap.
Vertically printed to one edge seam is C.J.R &S Ltd. 20.7.16
Whilst rare with any WW1 markings it is extremely rare to find an example without later refill dates as we have here.
