The last of this trio of Luftwaffe Helmet is this good combat used Q64 M40 with lot number 6477, dating it to 1940.
The shell is without damage, but the original factory finish has overall chipping to the paint, typical of extensive service use. The decal appears virtually without loss but has darkened considerably.
Inside, the liner is very good, free from cracks or damage, stamped 57 and with the original drawstring in place.
The chinstrap is quite firm, but I believe this may be a reproduction piece. I have left it on the Helmet in the interests of completeness and as I may be wrong, but it is included as such, and I have priced the Helmet accordingly.
