German WW2 Medics Pouch with Contents

A WW2 German Medics Kit which has clearly seen two wars and perhaps two opposing forces.

The brown leather pouch is dated 1917 but has a 1940 dated label affixed to the inside of the lid to reflect its later use and contents. The reverse carries the manufactures stamp and R, indicating this was the right pouch. Of the contents, roughly half are of German WW2 origin, the rest are British, and I believe of the same period.

Included in the medical contents is a German whistle, perhaps for summoning further help and an item on its own of not insignificant value.

All contents are in very good unused condition, the pouch with a split to one of the side closure straps.
