A nice early U-Boat Badge in Gilded Tombak by the preferred maker, Schwerin.
The Badge is in very good condition and shows just the right amount a service use and is without damage.
The vertical fixing pin is interesting and is an example of others I have seen before where the wearer has carefully shaped the pin to allow it to lay flat when on the uniform.
The reverse is stamped, Schwerin Berlin 68.
