Another from the superb Long Range Desert Group collection is this rare locally cast early L.R.D.G. Brass Cap Badge in very good condition with fixing posts and badge free from damage.

The badge is in place on a very nice 1940 dated Other Ranks Field Service Cap by Empire Cap Works Ltd. In a good size 7 1/8. The Cap is also in very good condition with the rear vertical seam of the side flaps re stitched at some point, the flaps themselves closed by two general service buttons. Inside are the initials H Mc C in laundry maker and possibly relating to Trooper Mc Cullough
