Heer Solduch to a Soldier in Transportation

A very nice complete and undamaged Heer Soldbuch to a soldier who served in both world wars.

Issued to Gefreiter John Pape on 24/9/44 who started in 1/Landeseschutz Batalion.496 and transferred to numerous Kraftfahr (transportation) units around Hamburg and ended in Krft. Ers. U. Ausb Abt.8.

He received as a result of his WW1 service, the Iron Cross 2nd class, Hamburg Cross and later the Sudeten Anschluss medal on 23/3/35 the Ehrenkreuz f. Frontkampfer.

Very good condition with a photograph of him on the inside front cover and three perhaps family related pictures.
