An extremely rare Essex and Suffolk Battlion combination of Cap badge and mis matched Collar badges.
In very good condition the Cap badge was sold in the October 2020 Bosley's auction and is constructed in bi-metal with fixing posts.
The collar Badges differ very slightly in appearance and whilst one is in very good condition with fixing posts in place, the other has a pin back fixing with the pin itself missing.
Essex & Suffolk Cyclist Battalion battalion existed for only 3 years from 1908 - 1911 making these extremely rare pieces.
