A late war Kriegsmarine U Boat Badge by Funcke & Bruninghaus of Lüdenscheid.
Constructed in zinc the Badge features the late war simplified needle pin fitting. Overall condition is very good with very little wear to the features but with a majority of the gilding now absorbed into the zinc.
The "tell" detail to look for on these is a small, raised pip on one of the feathers on the eagle’s right wing which I have circled on one of the images.
