This Pattern of Haversack was especially introduced for the British Home Guard in WW2 and only used by them.
Made of khaki rubberised canvas with interior divided into two compartments, the Haversack is in very good condition overall with no damage.
The front flap is closed by a single closure strap and buckle, the inside with the owner’s name, an inspection stamp with arrow and the remains of a maker’s stamp.
The shoulder strap has been folded over and restitched to shorten it for wear.
